Theatre fans love our location, just around the corner from three venues – in less than a five-minute walk, you’ll come to the Devonshire, Winter Garden and Congress theatres. You’ll also find contemporary art in this cultural area at the Towner Art Gallery. The beach is just steps away, and you’ll want to sample the delights of the Victorian tearoom on Eastbourne Pier. A short drive will take you to the impressive boats of Sovereign Harbour in one direction, and the marvellous cliff-top views from the iconic Beachy Head and Birling Gap in the other. History buffs will enjoy a visit to Redoubt Fortress & Military Museum.

So Eastbourne is around a 10-minute walk from Eastbourne Train Station. In just over 30 minutes you can travel to Brighton on the train, and enjoy a day in this cosmopolitan city known as London-by-the-sea. In a 20-minute journey you can reach historic Lewes with its castle and cobbled streets. For more history, travel in the opposite direction to Hastings. London Victoria is just 1 hour 30 minutes away, from where you can walk to Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey.

From Heathrow Airport take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station in a fast 15-minute journey. Change onto the Circle Line for another 15-minute trip, arriving at Victoria Underground Station. Catch the train from Victoria Rail Station to get to Eastbourne in around 1 hour 30 minutes.
It’s easy to get to So Eastbourne from Gatwick Airport. Simply take a 50-minute journey on the train to Eastbourne Station, and then either stroll down to our hotel in around 10 minutes or jump in a taxi.
